Gold Fob necklace with Pounamu Heart.

A large heart shield of New Zealand pounamu ( greenstone ) with 9ct gold  Kiwi and ferns  .  The idea of this pendant was for protection and desire for life.  

Hanging on a long 60cm 9ct rose gold chain of mixed designs. The top belcher chain is new with new antique style rose gold swivel . The connector with a Pounamu set 9ct rose gold joined to late victorian solid fob chain twirled links. All the chain is solid gold. 

The necklace has been created to wear with or with the heart.  

The pounamu is  a mid green ( not dark green) - South Island  - with the heart very close to a cascade green colour. 

When held up to the light as the light does travel beautifully through this piece.

 They say Maori Greenstone (pounamu ) is a lovely soothing heart based stone to ease stress and depression.

Pounamu from the nephrite jade family  signifies focus, control, power, and wisdom to the wearer and enhances the life spirit as it is adorned.

This is an extremely collectable piece in immaculate condition .
